Well our Christmas window's are looking beautiful - in no small part to out resident prop maker Simon, and all the gorgeous items we've got in store! We really have something for everyone, as you can see - we've crammed as much amazing stuff as we could into the doll's house.

Some new exciting ranges in-store are the scrabble mugs which are flying off the shelves, and soon we'll also have scrabble cushions! Only question is what words will you choose?

Another brilliant range we have is the Orla Kiely homeware. With beautiful ceramic and walnut wood storage jars, utensil pots, teapots and casserole dishes you won't want to hide anything away in your kitchen again.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Bristol shops 2nd Birthday celebrations last Saturday. We had great fun with the Alex Monroe Trunk Show, there were some really beautiful pieces. For those of you missed it you're still in luck as we still have some Trunk Show pieces till this weekend - 2nd October.

We now have a selection of Alex Monroe Jewellery favorites online! This pretty little lot will be winging it's way to our website very soon. But remember that a visit to our Bristol shop or our Jewellery shop in Bath will open your eyes to a much larger range of Alex's collections (and it's always good fun to try things on!).

For those of you who have yet to make the date in your diary our Bristol shop in Cabot Circus is turning 2 years old and to celebrate they are holding an Alex Monroe Trunk Show. This will be running only on Saturday 25th September from 10am - 7pm. The trunk show will showcase one off exclusive pieces made especially for our event. Make sure you get there early as the last trunk show was a great success with pieces being snapped up as soon as we opened!

We are also running a competition to win Alex's coveted bumblebee necklace - all you have to do is come instore and fill out a form. Easy-peasy.

In memory of Richard Barson, Team Bloomsbury  & friends will be taking part in an epic bike adventure from our New Bond Street store in Bath to our Cabot Circus store in Bristol. Over the gruelling thirteen mile adventure we'll have to endure a 1/4 mile long hill, but will be able to cruise down into Bristol on the other side, as it's a gentle slope for the rest of the journey!

We know to some this is not a long way, but for many this is the first time we have got on a bike for years! Richard himself cycled from John o'groats to Lands End for the British Heart Foundation.

We'll be setting off from Bloomsbury, New Bond Street, Bath at 12pm Sunday 10th October.

Following the Bath to Bristol cycle path, along the way we'll be stopping to set off 46 paper lanterns in Richard's memory.
