The bamboo plant is a natural woody plant that grows spontaneously without the use of pesticides or chemicals meaning it's one of the most environmentally friendly crops. What's more the removal of it's stumps allows an easier planting and provides space for a new forest's regrowth.

 

Bitossi are based in a village just outside Florence, Italy and have been designing and creating homeware pieces for the last 40 years.
